이곳은 실재하지만 동시에 존재하지 않는 장소입니다. 도심 속 ‘생태경관보전지역’에 설치된 조류 관찰용 쌍안경의 한쪽 렌즈 너머에는, 보이지 않는 비인간 존재들이 있습니다. 관찰을 위해 제작된 기계는 다른 쓰임새로 전유되며, 깊이를 잃은 도시의 납작한 이미지를 투영합니다. 그 비어 있는 공간의 틈은 경관 이면의 존재들과 그들과의 관계를 상상하게 합니다.
This place is real, yet it is also a place that does not exist. Beyond one lens of the birdwatching binoculars installed in an urban Ecological and Landscape Conservation Area, there are unseen nonhuman presences. A machine designed for observation is repurposed for another use, projecting a flattened image of a city that has lost its depth. The gaps within this emptied space invite us to imagine those who exist behind the landscape, and the relationships formed with them.
